Students will report to their homerooms after lunch and at 1:05pm will report to their 1st period class. At 2pm students will switch over to 2nd period class for the rest of the Bruin Success. Requirement to leave is 75% and above with parental permission. Students may be asked to stay for the following reasons: academic, SEL, behavior, reteaching, or other reason designated by class period teacher or school administrator. Students will not be allowed to leave or arrive half way through Bruin Success. Failure to meet requirement for one class period will automatically require students to stay for both sessions.

Adolescent Brain Development and the Role of Social Media
On October 16, the Poe Center will have a workshop talking about Adolescent Brain Development and the Role of Social Media at Camden County High School from 6pm to 8pm.
Program Description:
This program examines the impact of social media on emotional, social and physical health. Participants will explore how adolescent brains process information and make decisions and how that impacts their online experience. This session includes the latest research, examines the risk factors and identifies the protective factors to reduce negative aspects online. A discussion on strategies to increase those protective factors and to support empowering youth to make healthy decisions will be covered. Participants will be equipped with tools and resources to support ongoing conversations.
