Camden Early College will foster an individualized, student-centered learning community that prepares students for postsecondary education and success in the workforce in an ever-changing global economy by developing and implementing a relevant and challenging course of study and focusing on building school and community relationships.
Thank you for interest in the Camden Early College (CEC). It is exciting to begin the process that may join you with students who have committed themselves to rigorous academic work. Early Colleges are not like other high schools; please consider very carefully the commitments required and the way that the school functions before applying. Camden Early College is a non-traditional approach for students who may be at risk of dropping out, who may be first generation college students, or who want accelerated learning. Committing to Camden Early College also requires a family commitment. If, after you have read through this document, you believe this is the school that will help you achieve your goals, we invite you to complete the application.
Special Note: When you complete the form, the signature portion will ask for your commitment of at least one year to the school. It is extremely important to understand this is required to ensure your success and because it is very difficult to fill that seat once claimed. It is therefore essential that students and parents understand students are here for the year once they are accepted.
Required Application Process:
Part 1: Complete all of the form questions for early college admission. Part 2: Prospective students and families will participate in an interview with a small panel of Camden Early College staff members. Part 3: Complete two recommendation forms.
This application form will close at 11:59 on February 13, 2026. At that time, no additional applications will be considered. Applications are timestamped deadlines will apply to all student applicants.
